Technology: Harvested at full ripeness into plastic bins, followed with a light crush, processing with great care. After settling must, must was fermented in stainless steel container under controlled temperature, 16-17 °C

Wine Description:
This is a real Egri Csillag. In the nose spring flowers and besides citrus and mint, peach is also characteristic. A charmingly tart taste with almond and ripe banana completed by fine acids. Fine alcohol - acid harmony, pleasant freshness characterise this nice white wine.

Gasztronomical suggestinon:
A real refreshing summer drink, excellent for garden and pool parties, a great companion with light starters.
Best serving temperature is 12-14°C.

"...The new white wine of Eger, Egri Csillag reminds us ancient star-lit times. The glitter of watchman's huts used to guide the merchants and wanderers in and around Eger. These watchman's huts were mostly built by the vineyardists of Eger in the area of Nagy-Eged hill and the paths went across the vineyards in the north – eastern part edges of the town as road marks and the aim of defence. The ruins of one of the old watchman's hut called " uglywork" still can be found in Ostoros village. The news of shiny road marks went throughout the country. At that time, the following phrase came into use: If you travel to Eger, just follow the glittering stars of Eger...."
